Wild rice with spinach and hazelnuts

I Googled the phrase “local sources for long-grain wild rice” (without the quotes, of course) and one of the hits was a page on opensourcefood.com. This URL’s title tickled the geeky girl in me and the recipe sounds delicious.

If I can find a local source for some good rice like it calls for, I’ll make it. If you buy wild rice and healthful long-grain brown rice, where do you get it? I’m not talking about Uncle Ben’s converted, parboiled stuff.

Products like that have little nutritional value at all when it comes to fiber and other important criteria; all rice is not equal when it comes to nutrition. Ideally, it’s not just something that fills you up, but something that adds fiber and minerals to your diet.

Hey……we miss you on the board! We just had a guy join who’s over 500, and I mentioned you in my welcome post to him.
I’ve been thinking about you guys a LOT lately, and it looks like, as usual…Kimberly and I are on the exact wavelength!

Please come back to the board you two! I miss having you there terribly, although I do check the blog to make sure you’re OK.

    Tons of love,
    xoxo

    Hi Linda,

It’s always good to hear from you. I just have not been spending a lot of time on line. I just don’t know if I want to start posting again but maybe. Thanks for email and stop by the site anytime. Also tell the new guy at 3fc that I would always be glad to talk through email if he needs support.

You and Kimberley do seem to stick together. We have both found new hope and are doing well and coming back down in weight. So I hope you will be doing the same. It’s hard to get back on track but if we just give in all together imagine where we would be.
