Found a good article on eating healthy on a budget.
They based the article on trying to eat healthy on $5 a day. They give some good ideas. Kimberley and I spend $150 every two weeks on grocery’s and we can eat pretty healthy on that. So lets see that comes out to about 10.71 a day and that is not all food, it includes our HBA products also. So no excuses eat your fruits and vegetables.
Years ago I was on a very tight budget so I really paid attention to price. Now, I couldn’t tell you how much I pay for a loaf of bread; I just buy what we need. I no longer compare prices because I only buy certain brands. Does this make me a grocery snob?
I don’t pay a whole lot of attention to the price of things either. I just know our budget is 150 every two weeks and we usually stay within that. The main reason for posting these articles is so people who are always saying I can’t afford to eat healthy will know that they can.
