Eat Healthy on $3.57 a Day!

I found this interesting article on eating with organic foods on less than four dollars a day. I don’t necessarily advocate organic foods, I think it’s still out on how beneficial they are for you. However it’s nice to see that if you wanted to you could eat them on a low income. I’ve always heard people say it’s so expensive to eat healthy. This shows if you watch what you are doing it can be done on a budget. Granted it’s not what most would think of as a wonderful diet but it is healthy. I think we are pretty spoiled here in the US. Give half a man a big hand!

Charles Scott a friend from 3 fat chicks web site has made it too being half the man he used to be. Well he made it awhile back but now he is highlighted in people magazine. So take a look. I know that was so fun when they came out and did a photo shoot of me and Kimberley. Good work Charles. You are and inspiration to all of us.

Meet Charles

Charles is someone we’ve gotten to know over at the 3fatchicks.com’s forums. He was interviewed by the folks at myfooddiary.com and the interview is at this link. His story’s both scary (he began losing his eyesight due to weight-related Central Serous Retinopathy) and inspiring (he’s lost nearly 300 pounds).
