We are getting ready for our trip to Kentucky. I can’t wait to get away for a week. It’s been a stressfull few weeks at work. We are going to meet up with Tami from Tic Toc: Tamis Clock. I can’t wait to meet her and Kevin.  They live in Kentucky and are about at the half way mark of your trip. We are going to stay in a hotel for Satuday night and then we will be camping the rest of the week. Kimberley’s Mom and Dad were kind enough to loan us ther pop up camper so it should make for a nice relaxing week.

I think this cat does not know how to read. Either that or he still has a few lives left to spare.

Yesterday I gave you the view from my office door of the fair going on outside. So today I though I would give you a view of my office from the fair. We went on the ferris wheel and took some pictures. We had a great time last night at the fair. Most of the night was spent in Twilight Coffee which is right next door to my office. They had open mic night. My office is the tan and green building and we are the third door down from the end.

It’s our annual festival here in Newark. They bring in all the carnival rides and food. So needless to say it’s been a treat day. Here is a picture taken from my office door.

Even a day watching the Indians lose is better than a day at work. I must say I will never go to a weekday game again while school is in. They had buss loads of middle school kids there that were very annoying. I still enjoyed the game though. I even enjoyed it more once the sun moved to where we were in it. It was pretty chilly in the upper deck with the wind and being in the shade. Here is shot I took with my phone.

It’s easter weekend and I have Good Friday off. I also took off Monday and Tuesday so it’s a short spring break vacation for us. We are headed to see our friends Dea and Michael in Maryland. I’m looking forward to the time off and time away.

Soon to open Twilight Coffee is right by my office at 37 South Park Pl on the square downtown Newark Ohio. We have been talking with the construction guys as they have been remodeling the inside. I took these pictures the other day to give you a little glimpse of what it looks like. Jenifer the owner says she plans to open April 1st. I can’t wait to see it all done. I like to see business’s like this come downtown. It’s such a neat area and it’s sad to see it lose all the business’s. Starting out she says she will be open 7:00 am to 4:00pm. Don’t know about Saturday and Sunday.
