There’s no place like home

We’re back home in Ohio. The drive home was beautiful through the mountains of Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, and sunny the last leg through Ohio. It took us 6.25 hours from doorstep to doorstep; we left at 10:15am and pulled up at home right at 4:30pm. Howie was doing well, so we stopped only twice en route.

Bedrest for Bonzo

Howie didn’t have a headache today or feel nauseated, but he still felt lightheaded and weak, so the doctor had him take it easy again today. Dr. Kebaish called a few minutes ago, at a little after 10 o’clock. We weren’t expecting him to call tonight, but he took the time and we appreciate it.

Feelin’ blue

My husband’s had kind of a rough day. He started out taking his oxycodone doses a little too close and having too much in his system. He got cold and clammy, felt queasy – Just wasn’t a good time at all.

Dr. Kebaish gave him the green light – I’m heading into Baltimore right now to get Howie! :)

Howie called just as I was sitting in the driveway, oggling a map of Baltimore for a better route in from I-95. Google Maps suggests this route (any locals care to comment?).
